Serge Besanger

Serge Besanger is currently a consulting expert with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in Washington, D.C. His current research focuses on the Management of Technology in developing countries as well as the management of technology transfers.

Since 1999, he has also taught courses in business schools such as ESSEC, HEC, ESCP-EAP or NYU.

From 1984 to 1993, he spent nine years in senior management positions at Leroy-Somer S.A., a subsidiary of EMERSON Inc. (An autonomous strategic business unit, Leroy-Somer SEA now has 300 employees, revenues of $ 47 million, factories in China and assembly units in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. Boosted its revenues at an average annual rate of 45% between 1986 and 1993.)

Serge Besanger competed his MBA from ESSEC in 1984, and completed his PhD from Sorbonne’s University in 1988.
